Fanatix Agency is proud to announce their April Artist of the Month, JIB MACHINE RECORDS from Cleveland, OH. JIB Machine Records recently signed a distribution deal with Fanatix Agency, who has a partnership with the official online distributor for UMG, Metal Blade, VIP Records and various others.
JIB Machine Records has been in business since 2004. Bands currently on JIB's roster include: Hot Ham & Cheese, Hostile Omish, Johnny Mohawk and the Assassins, 7th Day Creeps, Drug Fux and "Slowhand" Jack Labgold.
JIB's distribution deal with Fanatix Agency will allow the label to distribute their artists to iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, Napster, MTVu.com and over 400 online retail stores WORLDWIDE. Plans for the first release from JIB's label through Fanatix will be the Port Huron, MI band 7th Day Creeps' ep “She's So Goth”. More artists from the roster will be released by late spring/early summer.
JIB's President/CEO John Templeman points out that JIB Machine Records also hosts their own radio show “JIBNation” exclusively on Scrub Radio (www.scrubradio.com) every Tuesday night from 7-10PM EST. The show focuses on underground artists both locally and nationally. The show is live and in the past has had several musicians in the studio as well as local street merchants, W. 9th residents, bar patrons from Gillespie's Map Room (which JIB’s house studio, STUDIO 13, sits above), strippers, artists, friends, family and a variety of artists and non-artists. It's entertaining and provocative. The hosts of the show, Templeman and Tim “Regi” Houle, Vice-President of JIB, recently celebrated their 200th episode in February. More artists from the roster will be released by late spring/early summer.
JibNation is also available on podcast at http://www.jibmachinerecords.podomatic.com/. For more information about JIB Machine Records, please visit their website at www.jibmachinerecords.com.
